Replace Google Forms for events.
Stop building event registration forms from scratch.
For event organizers using Google Forms for RSVPs and registration
Today, in four tabs
Not everyone runs all four. Whichever of them you do run, the event details get copied between them by hand, because none of them was built for events.
After
- A public page for every event, and a calendar of all of them Free
- Free RSVP with a capacity limit per date Free
- Tickets with QR check-in and a check-in dashboard Pro
- Newsletters to the people who follow your schedule Free
The gaps
Where Google Forms limits you for events
Google Forms was not built for event management. These are the places the event part has to be done somewhere else.
- No built-in ticketing or payment processing
- No public event pages or shareable calendar
- Manual work to send confirmations and track attendees
- No QR code check-in or event day tools
None of that is a fault in Google Forms. It is a general-purpose tool being asked to run an event, which is why the rest of the job ends up in other tabs.
Done natively
What Event Schedule gives you over Google Forms
The same work, in the tool that already knows what an event is.

Paste event details in any format and AI extracts dates, times, locations, and descriptions automatically.
Calendar Sync

The swap sheet
Google Forms vs Event Schedule
Line by line, on the event work. A dash in the Google Forms column means that job is not built in, so today it is living in another tab. A tick in the Event Schedule column does not mean free: the three cards below say which plan carries what.

Free
$0Unlimited events and schedules. Public event pages and a shareable calendar. Two-way Google, Outlook and CalDAV sync. Free RSVP with a capacity limit. Embeddable calendar, built-in analytics, AI event parsing, and 10 newsletter emails a month.
Pro
$5 a monthTicketing with QR check-in and the check-in dashboard. Custom fields on the form, waitlist, promo codes, sales export. Event graphics, the embeddable ticket widget, the REST API and webhooks. 100 newsletter emails a month.
Enterprise
$15 a monthYour own domain. Up to five team members. Internal and unlisted events. AI flyer and style generation, AI agenda scanning, WhatsApp event creation, and 1,000 newsletter emails a month.
Two footnotes worth reading before you switch. Your follower list is never capped, but the monthly newsletter allowance counts recipients rather than sends, so one letter to 40 followers spends 40 of it. And Free is a single team member; extra members are Enterprise. What does not change with the plan is the fee on ticket sales, which is zero on all three. Past Stripe's own processing, the money is yours.

About Google Forms
Google Forms is a free form builder used by many event organizers to collect RSVPs and registrations. While it works for basic data collection, it was never designed for event management - leaving organizers to manually handle payments, confirmations, and attendee tracking outside the form.
What it is good at
- Free and easy to set up for basic data collection
- Familiar interface within the Google ecosystem
- Flexible custom fields for any type of form
Why switch to Event Schedule?
Google Forms collects data, but Event Schedule manages your entire event workflow from registration to check-in day.
What moves across
- Built-in ticketing with Stripe payments and zero platform fees
- Public event pages with all details, not just a form link
- Automatic confirmation emails and QR code tickets
- Two-way Google Calendar sync keeps everything in one place
