Replace Canva for events.
Event graphics that create themselves.
For organizers spending hours designing event flyers manually
Today, in four tabs
Not everyone runs all four. Whichever of them you do run, the event details get copied between them by hand, because none of them was built for events.
After
- A public page for every event, and a calendar of all of them Free
- Free RSVP with a capacity limit per date Free
- Paid tickets, 25 a month, each one scanned at the door Free
- Unlimited ticket sales and the live check-in dashboard Pro
- Newsletters to the people who follow your schedule Free
The gaps
Where Canva limits you for events
Canva was not built for event management. These are the places the event part has to be done somewhere else.
- Manual design work for every event graphic
- Graphics become outdated when event details change
- No connection to your actual event data or ticket sales
- Time spent on design instead of event management
None of that is a fault in Canva. It is a general-purpose tool being asked to run an event, which is why the rest of the job ends up in other tabs.
Done natively
What Event Schedule gives you over Canva
The same work, in the tool that already knows what an event is.
Auto-generated Graphics
Event Schedule generates shareable graphics of your events from the details you already entered, free on every plan. No design work required.
AI Flyer Generation
On the Enterprise plan, AI generates a flyer image from your event details in seconds, following any style instructions you give it.
Always Up to Date
Graphics update when your event details change. No need to re-create flyers for date or venue changes.
Integrated with Ticketing
Your graphics link directly to event pages where people can buy tickets. No separate tools to connect.
Schedule Graphics
Generate graphics for your entire schedule, not just individual events. Perfect for sharing on social media.
AI Style Generation
On Enterprise, AI generates a matching profile image, header, background, accent color and font for your schedule, so every page shares one look.
The swap sheet
Canva vs Event Schedule
Line by line, on the event work. A dash in the Canva column means that job is not built in, so today it is living in another tab. A tick in the Event Schedule column does not mean free: the three cards below say which plan carries what.

Free
$0Unlimited events and schedules. Public event pages and a shareable calendar. Two-way Google, Outlook and CalDAV sync. Free RSVP with a capacity limit, and 25 paid tickets a month, scanned at the door. Event graphics, embeddable calendar, built-in analytics, AI event parsing, and newsletters to 10 recipients a month.
Pro
$5 a monthUnlimited ticket sales and the live check-in dashboard. Custom fields on the form, ticket waitlist, promo codes, sales export. The embeddable ticket widget, the REST API and webhooks. Newsletters to 100 recipients a month.
Enterprise
$15 a monthYour own domain. Up to five team members. Internal and unlisted events. AI flyer and style generation, AI agenda scanning, WhatsApp event creation, and newsletters to 1,000 recipients a month.
Two footnotes worth reading before you switch. Your follower list is never capped, but the monthly newsletter allowance counts recipients rather than sends, so one letter to 40 followers spends 40 of it; the automatic digest of new events that confirmed subscribers get does not count against it. And Free is a single team member; extra members are Enterprise. What does not change with the plan is the fee on ticket sales, which is zero on all three, or the ways to get paid: Stripe, PayPal, Payfast for rand, Invoice Ninja, a payment link or cash. Past the processor's own fee, the money is yours, and a Stripe or PayPal sale can be refunded from the Sales page in full or in part.

Canva to Event Schedule FAQ
What people ask before they move the event work across.
Is Event Schedule a good Canva alternative for event graphics?
Yes. Event Schedule auto-generates shareable event graphics from your event details on every plan, and offers AI flyer generation on the Enterprise plan. Graphics update automatically when event details change, so you never have outdated flyers.
Is Event Schedule free for event graphics?
Yes. Event graphics are generated from your event details on every plan, the free one included. AI flyer generation, AI style generation and AI-written graphic text are on the Enterprise plan. Pro at $5/month is about selling: it removes the free 25-a-month ticket ceiling and adds the live check-in dashboard.
How do Event Schedule graphics compare to Canva designs?
Canva offers more design flexibility for general-purpose graphics. Event Schedule graphics are purpose-built for events, automatically pulling in dates, times, locations, and descriptions. They are designed for quick social media sharing and are always in sync with your event data.
Do I need design skills to create event graphics with Event Schedule?
No. Event Schedule generates event graphics automatically from your event details, on every plan. On Enterprise, AI flyer generation creates a design with no input from you at all. You can also customize styles and branding to match your look.
Can I still use Canva alongside Event Schedule?
Of course. Many organizers use Event Schedule for automatic event graphics and Canva for custom brand materials. Event Schedule handles the event-specific graphics so you spend less time in Canva for routine event promotion.
